I don’t really know what particular subject I want to talk about is, so I’ll just type. Just felt like blogging. (:
Hm, encouragement. It seems that lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about where I am in my walk with God.
I think about where I was in my walk, before the move, where I was my senior year in high school, where I was a year after my baptism, my freshman year of high school, then freshman year of college, and I see… a lot of inconsistency.
At first it’s disappointing, but then I’m completely grateful for God’s never ending forgiveness and his ALWAYS open arms, cause then…I can just jump right back into them.
After that, I’m encouraged and then, I want to be consistent. Consistent in the way that, I’m ALWAYS growing closer to Him. I believe that every day is a new opportunity to grow closer, the process is never complete, the growth is never limited. And that makes me happy, and reassured.
Reassured in the way that, I KNOW, God’s love knows NO bounds. :)
I’ve said this so many times before as a response to people…is dat bad…
Oftentimes, God will use our experiences in life as stepping stones to prepare us for what He has in store next. Scripture tells us that He’ll even take the things the enemy tries to bring against us and turn them around and use them for our good. He is always leading us on a journey of preparation.
That’s why it’s so important to keep our eyes focused on Him. We have to trust that when we are submitted to Him—even if we don’t understand—He is ordering our steps. If something is not happening on your timetable, remind yourself, “God knows what He is doing. He has my best interest at heart. God is preparing me.” While you’re waiting, don’t make the mistake of trying to figure everything out. If you’re constantly trying to figure things out, that will only frustrate you. Turn it over to God. Declare, “God, my times are in Your hands. I’m not going to worry because I trust that You are leading me on a journey of preparation for all the wonderful blessings You have in store for me.”

Woah, it’s been a while since I’ve written a text post, didn’t even know there was a new format.
Buuuuuut, I miss writing out my thoughts somewhere, and really expressing what I feel. I wanna be able to look back on this blog and see how I’ve progressed, and see how I’ve changed, whether it be on opinions or mentality. Idk, what am I saying…ok. Yeah.
But in the midst of everything, I remember I am abundantly blessed. No matter what point of my life I’m in, I am always, always blessed.
